Best Experimental Music of 2025 on Bandcamp

Enormous thanks to Marc Masters and Bandcamp Daily for including Journey to the Cave of Guanyin in the best experimental music of 2025! This was a slow labor of love and I’m so grateful to Lawrence English of room40.org for igniting the spark to this album, to Janet Oh for giving me time and space to develop the piece at the Asian Art Museum of SF, and to the Emily Harvey Foundation for the utmost precious time in Venice where I recorded some of the tracks back in 2023. (“I thought there was a boat engine on downstairs” - yes, thanks also to my fellow artists in Calle dei Cinque who put up with my late night rumblings.)
