An introduction to the Sound/scapes project at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco

Sound/scapes at the Asian Art Museum

In 2022, I was invited to be the inaugural Sound/scapes artist at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. With access to the museum’s collection over a six month period, I created three site-specific performances in various spaces of the museum inspired by works in the collection. I am grateful to curator Janet Oh for this incredible opportunity to engage with the historic works of the museum. Read more about the project in this interview with Iris Kwok in the San Francisco Classical Voice.
