COMPOSITIONS
Estamos Ensemble, led by pianist and improviser Thollem McDonas, is a collective of musicians from Mexico and the U.S., brought together to expand cultural exchange through adventurous music making. As a group dedicated to the practice and exploration of improvised music, Estamos has also commissioned and performed pieces by such composers as: Ana Lara (MX), Nels Cline (US), Juan Felipe Waller (MX), Pauline Oliveros (US), Rogelio Sosa (MX), Joan Jeanrenaud (US), Hebert Vázquez (MX), Vinny Golia (US). Jorge Torres Saenz (MX), William Parker (US) and Thollem McDonas (US).
