Luggage Bob Marsh, Theresa Wong and Bryan Eubanks Last Visible Dogs 2007 This album is comprised of two lengthy improvisations performed at the historical Luggage Store Gallery in San Francisco. The first duo is Bob Marsh and Theresa Wong on cello/voice and the second features Bob with soprano saxophonist Bryan Eubanks. "Both duets heard here should be applauded for the musicians' eagerness to really listen to their partner and react accordingly." -Mark Corroto, All about Jazz (full review) "...Split into two tracks Marsh/Wong and Marsh/Eubanks, the music scrapes and rattles along beautifully, the musicians interacting with sympathy and precision, creating images of lonely marshlands, desolate yet captivating. Abstract voices add another layer to the compositions, wringing yet more emotion from the pieces." --Terrascope/Rumbles (full review) LVD 1002 lastvisibledog.com |
